Winter 2008 One of the most exciting benefits of the Sunday morning schedule which we embrace this fall is the time allotted at 9:00 for both adults and children to participate in Christian education. Our adult education committee has risen to the occasion with three strong offerings from which you may choose: Presbyterianism 101 Led by Mary Ellen Lloyd Sundays, beginning September 7 This class will be a primer on our Presbyterian roots that will bring to life the great history of reformed worship. Pictured below are some familiar characters portrayed as John Calvin, Martin Luther, and John Knox with leader, Mary Ellen Lloyd.
The Year of Living Biblically Sundays, beginning September 7 This group will be reading the book of the same title by A. J. Jacobs, which takes a humorous look at living out our ancient faith in today's modern (and post-modern) world.
Seasons of the Spirit Sundays, beginning September 7 Seasons of the Spirit is a PC (U.S.A.) curriculum of lectionary-based Bible study. We will meet on Sunday mornings in the Study before worship; bring your Bible and join us as often as you are able.
