Deacons

The office of Deacon as set forth in Scripture is one of sympathy, witness and service after the example of Jesus Christ. Deacons at SPC regularly deliver Sunday flowers and audio tapes of the worship service, visit our older members in nursing and retirement homes, and provide on an occasional basis transportation for doctor's appointments, respite for caregivers, and meals. Theirs is a ministry of compassion and service to others.

Stephen Ministry

Stephen Ministers are lay men and women who have been trained in listening and supporting those who are going through a difficult time or who are dealing with a chronic problem. It is a confidential one-to-one ministry which pairs men with men and women with women. Stephen Ministers are there to walk with you down the bumpy roads of life, caring for you as a concerned Christian friend.
