The Lord’s Supper for Presbyterians is a feast with many meanings.
Thanksgiving at the Lord’s table shapes us as grateful people who everywhere and always give thanks to God. Joining together for the meal, we are reminded of the call to make sure that food and drink, both ordinary and holy, are shared adequately among all. By the power of the Spirit, both past and future coalesce, as around our table we eat with Christ on that last night as disciples ourselves and as guests at the great feast of the Lamb that is promised and will surely come to pass.

To ensure that this sacrament is available to all members, the deacons organize the regular extension of communion into the homes of our members who are unable to attend worship when the sacrament is celebrated at Sunday worship (generally the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month). Deacons and elders, in and out of current service, gather the elements of bread and cup and bring them to the homes, including retirement communities, nursing homes and hospital beds, of those members desiring to receive the sacrament.
If you, or someone you know, would like to receive the sacrament at home, or you are an ordained elder or deacon and would like to participate in this ministry, please contact Rev. Lisa Day at 610-543-4712 x117 or email@example.com.
